About Us

Soap Tile Studio started with a simple idea: Mahjong is way too much fun to be boring.

Based in San Antonio, Texas, we create affordable, colorful, and seriously fun Mahjong tiles for people who believe game night should have a little personality. We love the tradition of Mahjong—but we also love putting our own spin on it.

From bold colors and unexpected designs to collections that make you do a double take, our tiles are made to bring people to the table, start conversations, and make every game a little more fabulous.

We’re a small, independent business, and every collection is dreamed up with a healthy dose of creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to ask, “What if we tried this?”

Sometimes that means colorful tiles. Sometimes it means going completely rogue.

Either way, we’re here to make Mahjong more colorful, more approachable, and a whole lot more fun.

So grab your tiles, gather your people, and let’s play.
